ANFER - Railroad construction division
From 2008 till 2009, Executive Director of railroad business unit (ANFER) in Pinto & Bentes,SA.
Execution of contract to provide corrective maintenance of aerial electric power line in light rail solution of Sintra, belonging to city hall.
Execution of contract for road underpassage in Algueirão. Some rail power lines had to be repositioned without afecting running trains.
Execution of maintenance contract to wayside mile marks in Entroncamento, Portugal.
Management of rail contract for maintenance of train parks and depots with CP - Comboios de Portugal (Train Operator).
Renewal of two parking lines in Campolide depot.
Line renewal in maintenance depot of Barreiro.
Signalling site supervisor
From 2007 till 2008 , site supervisor in light rail project metro do Porto, Portugal.
Testing and comissioning of new versions of software in stations interlocking systems (Setting routes in command center).
Testing and comissioning of new versions of software in railroad stock systems (Speed profiles).
Testing and comissioning of public information system at stations platforms.
Work site meetings for the line expansion project of Santo Ovideo - 1st Fase.
Site technical drawings check "As Built" in stations already built and in operation.
Analisys and comment in internal technical documents sent by client Metro do Porto.
Work coordination with colegues from consortium Consulgal, Ferconsul and Senner.
Head of signalling maintenance center
Since 2003 till 2007 , acountable for maintenance of rail signaling system from Tunes/Lagos (46 Km´s length).
The installed system was the new PIPC interlocking from Alcatel.
Along 2007 Alcatel takeover by THALES ended my contribution.
Settting up of maintenance procedures and maintenance plans for all equipment installed in technical rooms and wayside equipmente between stations.
Supporting the system for breakdowns in rotating 24h/7days shifts.
Management of maintenance center, reporting all activities to both client and head office.
Providing support for telecomunications team from client, in new equipments installed. EOL ring in fiber optic mono mode and backup in copper wire.

6 PIPC interlocking
UPS power systems Efacec technology working at 32 KV powered by electric network, rail power lines and supported by 600 V DC static bateries.
Electronic boards to command rail electric signalling.
Points command and control systems.
Monitor and signal gathering system with computer network relay of information.
Field and wayside systems:
Two points per station, with two lines acessed by manual point with remote key release.
Ebicab antenas on rail with and without electric signal information associated.
Electrical signals inside and outside station area.
Level crossings types A,B,C e D. 18 systems in total with and without station influence.
